Tool and Die Technicians
Responsible for routine tool and die maintenance on both manual and progressive dies. Must have strong mechanical background and experience with both manual and progressive tooling. Tool and Die certification with 4-year apprenticeship preferred, but not required.
Process or Mechanical Engineer
Provides strategic direction and technical expertise in the development and implementation of progressive programs that will allow the company to provide superior quality parts and service to our customers, while positioning the company for growth. This position requires that a candidate takes an active hands on approach in all departments under the engineering function. Candidate must be an excellent leader with strategic vision and passion for continuous growth. Desired candidate will have a minimum of a BS degree in Engineering or related growth or equivalent work-related experience. Must have an excellent understanding of the tool and die industry and design for manufacturing.
Quality Engineers
Technical position requiring excellent logic, deductive reasoning and solid decision making skills related to manufactured parts. Must possess the ability to understand and read product blueprints and use a variety of testing equipment, must possess a strong mechanical background. Candidate must be proficient in PPAP submissions, able to solve, plan and direct activities to develop, apply and maintain quality standards. Familiar with applying APQP, SPC, and Lean principles within the organization. Candidate must be self motivated and have good oral and written communications skills. A minimum of 3 years previous experience in this field is preferred. Desired candidate will have a minimum of a BS degree or related degree or equivalent work related experience. Previous experience in metal stamping or automotive experience is a plus.
Press Technicians
Candidate must be able to read and interpret product blueprints, be able to read micrometers, calipers, protractors, and check the quality of parts. Candidate must have sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports. Operator must follow quality plans and produce the required quality within the required tolerances according to the requirements, perform basic quality checks as specified on the quality plan, properly label containers with correct ID tags, correctly and legibly maintain appropriate paperwork, monitor all aspects operating the press (feeder, straighter, un-coiler, etc), and correctly set up and tear down dies.
Supervisors
Must have strong knowledge of manufacturing/production, process flow, coordination, planning and scheduling of production and control of the manufacturing operations. Candidate must be able to adapt to a fast paced environment, have the ability to make strong decisions, as well as work under the pressure of production deadlines. Strong communication and organizational skills required. Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience in a production or metal fabrication environment.
Forklift Drivers
Previous experience preferred.
Shipping/Receiving
Qualified candidates should possess strong computer skills, forklift experience, and have some manufacturing and/or shipping/receiving experience. This position requires the ability to work independently, pay close attention to detail, load and unload trucks, and be responsible for inventory control.
Maintenance Personnel
Must have electrical, pneumatics, mechanical, and hydraulics experience. Must be able to troubleshoot and repair all production equipment and install new equipment in a metal stamping facility. Robotics and PLC experience a plus.
